*Overview- Client released a new application and needed a comprehensive set of cross device testing completed quickly and efficiently.

*The Problem- This client released an application and didn’t have the necessary resources to properly test in a real world environment across multiple devices, browsers and operating systems. The client required testing by someone without close ties to the product, who had extensive mobile application testing and could operate under a global delivery model.

*The Solution- Astir worked closely with the client in creating an extensive mapping of software requirements and functional specifications in order to design in-depth test matrixes. A large amount of test cases were generated and tests were planned according to a strict schedule. All tests were performed under real world scenarios and were completely traceable for performance evaluation. Tests were done across multiple simulators, operating systems, devices, and browsers.

Collaboration between Astir and the client was essential in order to keep the client informed on all performance issues. Both Astir and the client maintained a complete understanding of the testing process in order to quickly address any issues that arose during the testing phases. This two way communication helped expedite the testing phases as well as any repair phases.
